At the moment I'm not booking for the Cromwell saga. It seems like a double distillation of the 'story' but hey, who knows, so was most of Shakespeare! I wish it luck and I hope the RSC has massive hit with it. Keep me posted. ;-)

I have visions of Richard II being beaten to a pulp by Bolingbroke. The Pillowman anyone?

By the way, is it Bolingbroke or Bolingbrook? Given that the RSC website has the latter.

Lots of the reviews for the Donmar production say Bolingbroke, but it may be either.

oh great to have her back - a mighty fine actress, and I remember her giving so much to the small part of Charmain (or was it Iras) in the Janet Suzman RSC Cleopatra. Tough as I write that I can't believe she ever played small parts, but as I remember Cleo's two ladies were Rosemary McHale and Lapotaire. She was wonderful in Ghosts in The Other Place.
