True, prices can be mad, and given they are already in the land of mad prices that is London...

Found out I'm working sound for Crazy For You, at the "Upstairs at the Gatehouse" in Highgate, so it's champagne all round please barman.

Haha...good idea guys! I have noticed that M&S do mini wines for £2.50, which has to be a third of a theatre's price! I can't be told off for sneaking in if it's in a plastic bottle, right ;) !

Been Christmas shopping so I am feeling a bit jaded, so I'll have a Lucozade please.

Have a look at the link to the live webcam for the partial demolition of Chichester Festival Theatre

Large vodka please barman!!

Went to see Hero at the RC last night...ugh! Danny Mays was great, but the plot and play was just...ugh! As a gay teacher, I found it offensive and really didn't enjoy it...apart from the fact Danny Mays is so cute!!

Pisco and lemonade, tequila and Irn Bru, both in honour of the late and deeply lamented Underdog in Edinburgh, the best bar there has ever been.

If people must sneak drink in to theatres, please don't have it in the auditorium, but if you soddingwell do, don't drink it near me.

Why not Backdrifter? A wine is a wine at the end of the day? Does it matter I payed £2 for it in tesco, or £6 for it at the bar? I am courteous enough to put it in a plastic cup!

To be honest it is no concern to anyone whether I have a Lucodade or a Pinot Grigo in my (plastic) glass.

Same again please barman.

As it happens I'm not fussed about the source of the wine, it's the stench of wine in auditoriums that bothers me.

Call me old fashioned, but in this establishment drinks are served for the bar area only and NOT to be taken into the auditorium!  And maybe we should bring back 'dressing for the theatre' too.....

I am so looking forward to seeing the Les Mis movie. But what im looking forward to more is the 'sing a long a Les Mis' !!  I can finally show the world my Eponine... and shove Cossette in a ditch like she deserves.

Is it Les Mis or Les Miz??
