The early closing was announced a week or so ago wasnt it? The Vaudville is having quite the duff run.

The problem may be the Vaudville itself - I would have gone to see this play if it had been staged anywhere other than a West End flea pit.

I don't think the Vaudeville is a bad venue, I saw Master Class there last January, it's not a desirable venue compared to the Apollo or Gielgud,

i also dont think the vast majority of theatregoers care what theatre a shows in and personally I dont have a problem with the Vaudeville.

Well it doesn't take cards at the bar and it's a bit squashed but other than that it's fine and yes surely only a very small proportion would even care.

I would imagine the number of people who can remember which WE theatre is which is roughly the same as the number who care who the director is. And they all post on this forum.

Interesting Armadillo, maybe requires a new thread. But I do ahev difficulty remembering which is which but for the location. I noticed that The Noel Coward has upgraded the loos and cleaned up a bit for the Grandage season [ maybe had done loos before] They always kept the lights down so low there because it was falling apart. Looks better now.

Actualy Lynette, the Noel Coward was cleaned up for the Avenue Q launch some years ago .... :-)
