Booked Rocky Horror Show in Wimbledon last night. That makes 9 shows booked this year and I haven't seen any of them before. If anyone knows my track record, that's a big deal for me! After my Rock of Ages obsession came to an end I vowed to see more new things.

I need to book for Once, A Chorus Line, Cats in Woking and Tailor Made Man.

I've booked a few, but mostly only those that I think might be hard to book nearer the time or which need planning (Young Vic "Doll's House" revival which I missed the first time around and Tobacco Factory "Two Gentlemen of Verona" for example).

So far, I have tickets booked for the touring productions of Cats and Ghost, both of which I have seen on previous occasions. I'm also seeing Wicked on Broadway in the Spring and I'm hopefully seeing another two shows at some point in the year but these haven't been chosen or confirmed yet!

Salad Days (Riverside) & Cinderella (St James) were both wonderful.

David Bedella in concert was also very good.

Merrily was disappointing – please don’t let Maria Friedman direct anything ever again … and I’m praying for the Jonathan Kent rumour of him directing Gypsy to be  false. But onto positive prayers;  My Fair Lady coming into town and Chess to be a huge success and to have a healthy life.

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

Is it only a rumour ? Jonathan Kent, Imelda Staunton, Chichester.
