So very sad to hear of her tragic passing away. Such a gorgeous and talented lady. I will have fond memories of her performances in Bombay Dreams and Privates on Parade.

An absolute star, such a sad loss of someone so young and full of life.

I was lucky enough to work with Sophiya in "The Far Pavilions". I came in as a replacement in the ensemble and my fondest memory was actually watching the show from a box at The Shaftesbury Theatre with Sophiya (her understudy, Marina was on that night). Sophiya was such a warm and welcoming person! Bubbly and funny! She made me feel like a part of the show from day 1!
All I can say is that Heaven has got another angel now, and she is gorgeous!

RIP Sophiya, you were (and still are) an inspiration to me, not only as a performer, but also as a human! <3
