i have to disagree on the train, i thought that was the one part of thw projections that really worked and got a good reaction each time i saw it. the rest however yep, the stairs especially have to be the cringiest moment ive ever seen on stage

Maria Freidman and The Woman in *hite is a double negative for me!

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

I wonder who picks out the Chocolate Factory shows.
Disaster after disaster. They are scraping the barrel here.

You could hardly be more misinformed. What planet are you currently inhabiting?
Excuse me if I seem jejune
I promise I'll find my marbles soon.

The Menier is hit and miss but they do produce good shows, Abigail's Party, Little Shop were also great.

And the critics love them. They transfer to the West End and then they realise that the general public, who need to like them and go or it closes, don't like them and they all close pretty rapidly.
Its a bit like when critics choose the best films ever - all rubbish as far the Joe Public is concerned, who wants Indiana Jones etc.
Can you name one Sondheim musical that has run for a year. Thought not.
All very clever but not very nice to sit through.
