Wasn't the 70's original pretty minimalist too?

It was certainly more staged than the recent revival.

Might have been interesting to see this, but for me there are two words which are an insurmountable obstacle :-
Paul Kerryson !
The engine roared, the motor hissed,
And who could see that the road would twist

Do you think they will have.......wait for it..............scenery?

I am afraid the recent production was nothing more than a staged concert in my opinion. It must have made a fortune for the producers with no set ( therefore minimal stage crew required) and no costumes - well leotards. No wonder it ran for years. A chorus line is exactly the same! No cheap ticket prices though.

Yup, I believe they came out in the same year, must have been a fad on broadway to do away with lavish sets

So many in the ensemble I love! I've booked twice. I've never been to the venue before, I hope the seats I got were good.

Saw Gemma sutton in the recent tour of hairspray and I must say she is one of the finest young actresses out there!

Curve is my local theatre and from experience the views are great from all seats. In my opinion it's a fantastic theatre and I'm so happy that it's gaining a good reputation!
I'll be booking to see this over Christmas :)

Thanks :) For the last matinee I booked A1 of the stalls, I hope the stage isn't too high. I also have a pair of tickets D28&29 of the circle.

I haven't sat front row in the main theatre before, but I've never heard any complaints. The seats in the circle should be fine :)
