Fab cast for this, including Mariah Gale and Jamie Parker, directed by Polly Findlay.

Just a pity about the Menier's pricing. They do airline-style pricing, but the trouble is the cheap early-booking price is not that cheap at £27.50. :(

That is too expensive. Shame, as I love this play. Not too fussed about Emma Cuniffe though.

Paid less than that to see Gwynneth Paltrow do it at the Donmar

As did I. I even paid less than that to see Anne Heche do it on Broadway.

I went to see the first preview of this production and I thought it was very good indeed. All four actors are strong, but Mariah Gale and Jamie Parker were superb, helping to make this play feel in equal parts funny and moving. The set is simple but effective and the story is certainly one that captured my attention and my interest.

Until 19th March lastminute.com are offering tickets for £14.95, which I thought was a bargain but I'd have happily paid more for this production. Recommended.

Went to see this last night and was really impressed.  I was surprised at the lukewaarm reviews and half empty theatre.  This is a clever, brilliantly acted and pacy production.  Mariah Gale who I had seen previously in Gruesome Playground Injuries is superb.  Funny, moving, in control one moment and little girl lost the next.  She must be one of our finest young actresses and I can't wait to see her next outing.

Highly recommended particularly given the special offers available.

Gazzaw, what offers are you talking about? I'd love to see this, simply because I think it's a brilliant play. But the price tag is a little steep. Thanks for any help.

I got a really good deal through the heroic Bargain Theatre: http://bargaintheatreland.com

I also follow him/her on Twitter, which is how the Proof offer caught my eye - haven't seen it before and looking forward to it, but would certainly not have paid full price: http://twitter.com/bargaintheatre
