Sympathy. I am in *little old lady* mode as Beth will testify (as I had to cancel theatre) as I have done my back in....would like to say it was something dramatic but it was tying a boot lace that did it! Will hobble to work tomorrow trying not to look too old! Hope cough better soon! A curse for a theatre-goer!

Oh no, you had to cancel London theatre too (was it Privates on Parade?), as well as Oxford then? Poor you :( Hope the back improves soon, so you don't start to suffer withdrawal symptoms!

Had to cancel No Quarter, which I see you are visiting later in the week! Jealous! Enjoy!

By the way, back on topic, Othello seems to be selling extremely well....got 2 x £12 tickets today but there were only a sprinkling around and all single ones when I looked (I booked 2 single seats) ...all seem to be mostly gone now, along with most of the stalls seats! Be very quick if you want tickets...no dithering now!
They have a hit on their hands!

Ends this week too, so not much chance to catch it. If it's any consolation, Libby Purves gave it 1* in The Times, so you may have very well hated it

Most impressive considering booking is only open to the first two levels of membership. By the time it opens to the public in 10 days time, there will most likely be nothing left.

Pretty impressive

Almost all performances currently booking are either now sold out or limited....not bad for a Shakespeare play in a relatively large venue!

And it still hasn't even gone on sale to the public yet!

Do they not hold seats back for public booking? If not that's pretty shocking given the amount of public funding they get.
