It's coming to The Lowry in October. I've seen two of CRH's previous actor/musician productions, Chess and Spend Spend Spend and loved them both. Never seen Fiddler on the Roof, not even the film. Any recommendations?

It's an incredible show when done right, but I saw a production done in Dublin 2 years back and I felt like it was never going to end. Saying that, there was a woman beside me tearing up so..

The last london revival with henry goodman was excellent. CRH is a good director and theres nothing to say this will be another actor/musician combo

Oh not seen that. Thats annoying, so over the actor musician thing.

It's very very difficult to beat the perfect film.

I get that its cheaper but for a major uk tour when the last two tours by same team have been traditional, its disappointing

Yes, I'm sorry I just think the actor musician thing is just cheap, but still charging full musical theatre prices. But Fiddler is a great show although a little lengthy.

Has Craig R-H done anything that isn't actor musician in the last few years? It seems to be his preferred format. As I said before Chess and SpendSendSpend worked great so it wouldn't put me off.
