Susan Stroman will direct the UK premiere of The Scottsboro Boys this October at the Young Vic.

Good news! I'm surprised Stroman has the time with Big Fish opening on Broadway around then and Bullets over Broadway slated for a spring 2014 opening.

She's done it before and I'm sure she has associates who can lend a hand, so shouldn't be too great an ask.

Excellent news!  I still think the Menier are stupid for not putting this on.  It would work brilliantly there.  Now can we have some more Kander & Ebb revivals please?  KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, THE RINK...

agreed. The MCF is very hit and miss with programming choice of creatives

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

This is great news, 2013 is shaping up to be quite a year for musicals.

I'm interested. I am a newcomer to the Young Vic though

Is the seating space good for someone over 6 feet tall?

The layout varies for each show - I'm 6 ft and have never had a problem there
