so, confirmed for October, I'm not sure the west end has enough room for two Irish music making stories and I hope it doesn't kill off Once

So is this the first show doing a 7:30pm show on a Sunday? Feel sorry for the cast having 4 shows at the weekend, 2 Saturday, 2 Sunday!!

Same if you book from the official website as all tickets for previews are half price.

At last - great prices for previews. Much better than the misery £10 off you normally get.

Yep Ive bought a ticket in Stalls and I'm willing to give this a go. I think it will be far better than Viva (but I havnt seen it so can not comment, just a gut reaction).  I'd love to know who they'll cast. Killian Donnelly is about to leave Billy in 3 weeks so he could be a possibility, he's got an excellent voice and can carry off a bit of comedy I'm sure.  Does anyone have any info on this?

Info is all rather fragmented & disorganised.

There are two Twitter accounts @Thecommitments  & @CommitmentsLDN which had a bit juicier comments, some of which have now been removed - one said something along the lines of "everyone we have offered the part to has turned it down"

Both claiming to supply the PR and all a bit mixed up, but I get the impression they are still auditioning. They seem to have had open auditions in Dublin.
