It's based on a book by Sophie Kinsella (as Madeleine Wickham) - there's a brief description of plot on the Landor website

They have a Facebook page, and on Tuesday they said casting news was coming very soon https://www.facebook...310910722364947

I'm interested in seeing it, as a fan of Sophie Kinsella's work, but will probably wait for the casting news before I make a decision

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, the musical tells the tale ofChloe who desperately needs a holiday. She’s sick of making wedding dresses and her partner, Philip has troubles at work. Her wealthy friend Gerard has offered the loan of his luxury villa in Spain - Perfect Hugh is not a happy man. His immaculate wife Amanda seems more interested in her new kitchen than him and he works so hard to pay for it, he barely has time for his children. Maybe he’ll have a chance to bond with them on holiday. His friend Gerard has lent him a luxury villa in Spain - Perfect.
Both families arrive at the villa and realise the awful truth - Gerard has double-booked. What no-one else realises is that Chloe and Hugh have a history, and as tensions rise, old passions resurface. It seems that Gerard’s ‘accidental’ double booking may not be an accident after all…

CAST
Chloe - Jenny Gayner
Amanda - Liza Pulman
Jenna - Sabrina Aloueche
Philip - Grant Neal
Hugh - Steve Serlin
Sam - Adam Pettigrew

Sounds like it should star Jennifer Anniston and Paul Rudd.
Excuse me if I seem jejune
I promise I'll find my marbles soon.

This thread is so much less interesting that the title led me to hope...

Obviously not a good sign if the book is "best selling" and someone hasn't heard of it!

The title of the show has to sell it - or nothing else will.

I liked Jenny when I saw her play Roxie in Chicago. I might check it out for her. Kind of interested to see Sabrina in something else too.

I'm very tempted to go to see this. I like Jenny and Sabrina. Bit of a distance for me, so trying to find out more before booking

Ok, given in to it. Got my ticket for the second preview. Never Bern to the Landor, so it will be a new experience, and I get to see Sabrina and Jenny.
