what are back row stalls like? I have V12. I was always going to see this considering the cast but equally also feared the play would be a bit thin

I had V12 and I thought it was a perfectly fine seat. The circle does overhang but you only miss a couple of things (ribbons and/or lanterns, I think).

I haven't seen the play - are they played by children ? Child actors in the (legitimate) theatre are almost always useless - your heart always sinks when they come on in Winter's Tale or King John with their stilted drama school delivery.

Nope, played by (young) adults. Which worked for me because, like I said, the characters are adult interpretations of children.

I was on V stalls for Privates on Parade and they were fab.  Have they put them in for just this season? They were slightly raised and as a result didn't have any heads in the way! There is only one downside - when ever anyone walks behind u (as several members of the cast did) the whole row jerks. Violently.

Saw this last night. I don't quite know what to make of it. It felt quite flimsy, but then the last 20 minutes were heart wrenching. Great performances from everyone, though good lord does Ruby Bentall's voice make me want to burst my own eardrums.
