Just asked and the theatre is being reconfigured. No tucked under knees it seems. Looks a funny play, anyone know more about it? You oldies, seen it? ;-)

In 1982 BBC tv broadcast a Sunday night primetime BBC1 Play of the Month studio production starring Jeremy Brett, Lindsay Duncan, Penelope Keith and Benjamin Whitrow. Those were the days...

I remember the tv version and there's a film too with Beatrice Lillie which  is pretty funny for them as likes that sort of thing. The only Lonsdale i've actually seen on stage is one with Rex Harrison in the mid 80s which involved lots of cocktails and, IIRC, an aging toff picking up shop assistants at the British museum. So obviously I've booked this one!

Well I'm an oldie but don't think I've seen it.  In any case, I booked last week when there for The Living Room, as this sounded promising.
