"Now Lloyd Webber tells Express, "The show is far more about the fate of the scapegoat of the scandal, Stephen Ward, than Profumo." This matches with Lloyd Webber's confirmation earlier this week of the show's Working Title, "Stephen Ward," who was the pimp that brought showgirl Christine Keeler and John Profumo together. In fact, Lloyd Webber previously stated that the relationship between Keeler and Profumo will make up only about seven minutes of the narrative."

There was a track from the score performed at the recording of the ALW TV special that is to be broadcast on Easter Sunday (6.30pm ITV)

It was only an instrumental piece though, by Montenegran guitarist Milos. Very beautiful, but did not give much away about the musical, in fact sounded rather Latin and as though it would fit better into something like Evita.

According to Baz Bamigboye, ALW is eyeing to open the show by November subject to a theatre availability overwise it'll be pushed back to Spring/Summer 2014. Given its a chamber musical, I'm guessing he's aiming for 1000+ seater theatres. I've said before The Adelphi but that may be too big but none of his smaller theatres are available.

Aldwych and Savoy are possible. The VP I think might be too big.

The Savoy is small enough to be intimate and a decent capacity, he hasn't had a show that wasn't in his one of his theatres since Whistle Down the Wind. Depends if there interest in either theatre from other producers. Let it Be booking until October so he would be able to open there by November,
