It really is an awful show. And terribly Anerican in the worst possible way.. Cheesy , like a pantomime and with a terrible score. I don't see how it could come here .. WWRY won't leave the dominion and nowhere else would be free or big enough.

The only venue big enough would be Palladium or Drury Lane... But Drury has Charlie for at least two-three years i predict

I imagine it would need to be there longer than 3 years considering the budget of Charlie!

Damnnn thats a big budget!! Charlie will be successful purely due to its title alone... One of the most popular films and books of all time, its bound to be a long running success!!

For a new show with lots of children and likely big set, it sounds about right, luckily its being backed by Warner Bros who I imagine want Charlie to be a hit in London so it can go to Broadway and elsewhere. They've not been successful with stage musicals, Lestat and Baby's its You were compete flops although I think Elf did well on Broadway.

I think Charlie has HUGE potential to be a big hit in London, possibly even a long running west end show

Reported 7.5 million plus 3million for stage rights. That may or may not include marketing budget.

Advance around the 4million mark
