I bet Matilda will win The Audience Award. Some of the cast of ROA seem pretty pissed off it isn't up for any awards.

Matilda is a shoo-in (and a well-deserved one at that). While it would have been nice to see Rock of Ages nominated, it would've never won the award in the end.

I wouldnt say Matilda is a guarantee. Wicked has a LOT of fans that will vote regardless.

Didn't stop Les Mis winning last year, would like to see Matilda get it but all four shows have a shot of winning,

Yeah Les Mis too, basically my point was some musicals have very active fans who will always vote. Not sure Matilda has those type of fans.

Although wasnt Wicked not eligible last year because it won the year before? or am I confusing with WOS Awards?

It wasn't eligible in 2011 because it won in 2010 - it was eligible last year (and was one of the 4 final nominees)

Am I alone in hating this Audience Award? It's embarrasing. The Oliviers should be above this. You'd NEVER get an equivalent at the Tonys.
