Just got tix for this on 2 strengths so far: 1) Zoe; 2) special deal including tix + post theatre dinner at J Sheekey's.

My DH did the purchasing, so I can't even tell you how much (and, so, start a firestorm!). I think he said we have row K in the stalls, though. So, that's good.

How my hol is shaping up so far:

We'll be in London for a week before heading up country, and it really feels like the weird weather is going to continue. So 3 plays sounds like a good way to spend a nice chunk of hols. Three plays (Passion Play; Peter + Alice; The Audience) plus a few great meals (J Sheekey; Hereford Road (near home base); The Ivy; Veera Swamy; Fortnum & Mason... so far). Also we're going to Buck House for the new Tudor ex.

Obviously, I love you guys!

****

Best,

Cat6

P.S. back again! Here's the play/dinner deal: http://www.j-sheekey...ertheatreoffer/

Weird how there doesn't seem to be ANY buzz about Passion Play at all, isn't it? Wanamaker isn't the draw she used to be, it seems.

No. Moreover, I was surprised at the meal offer.

Is the play in previews yet? Maybe no one's seen it yet to comment.

Yes, I see -- Richmond and Brighton. Yes, tomorrow. So hopefully we'll hear something. Whatever it is, we have tix. :)

I booked for London as, unusually, it turned out to be cheaper than Richmond, which would otherwise have been my first choice.  So a long wait (until July) but plenty of time for the production to  evolve and gel.

... or to close early, before you've booked to see it.  :)

Now there's an idea, HG - maybe I could put money on it and win either way!
