Saw this yesterday afternoon. A nice play with a couple of good twists, but far from a classic. Act 1 especially is rather slow.
On the whole it's compellingly acted. Barrie Rutter is very good, and there's good support from Sara Poyzer and especially Catherine Kinsella. She says barely nothing in the first half, but steals the show towards the end of Act 3. Nicholas Shaw as one of the sons (Kinsella's character's husband) is too "acty" though. He comes across a wimpish and pathetic. And for this one doesn't care for him.

My third visit to the St James. It's a nice venue, good sightlines, good location. Box office staff v friendly and helpful. Same can't be said for the cafe/restaurant. Was told by what appeared to be the manager to vacate my table where I and a friend were having coffee, to make way for people wanting food- less that 30mins before curtain up. Prioritizing potential earnings over existing customers. I wasn't happy, and we didn't move.
