I went last year, got there about 3.30pm and it wasn't that busy :) My daughter and I ended up with about one row of people in front of us, and after Billy Elliott they moved  and we were at the front :) There seems to be a lot more hype this year so though I'll be going earlier  :)

My tip: come down early and watch the sound checks. Performance with pretty much no crowd.

Where is this staged, or is it obvious once you get into Covent Garden?

If it is the same as last year, it's very obvious. It is at the Eastern side of Covent Garden, (St Paul's church end), but you really won't be able to miss it.

What time does it start? I have a feeling it is 4 but I may have picked that number out of nowhere!
