So I thought I'd start a thread about this show, I tried to find one but there doesn't seem to be one!

Does anyone have any news on casting?

Who would you like to see as Maria?

I'd love to see Sarah Earnshaw do it!

Wow. This was amazing, a near perfect production.Charlotte Wakefield was astounding and deserves every award and so do the children ... A well deserved standing ovation :-)

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

It's a classic.  It's in the park.  In the summer.  It will sell.  Palladium version was ropey.

Word of mouth for this has been excellent.

Have to agree with boob here Mr Barnaby....Sound of Music is indeed a classic...yes its a box office guarantee as well but when a classic is done well especially a Rodgers and Hammerstein the results are worth it....i remember seeing Carousel at the National and being blown away by a simply staging that really told the story and got to the heart...also it was five years ago the ALW bandwagon rolled out of the Palladium
