I wouldn't hold your breath for a copy of the 1955 show which isn't available in any archives.

The play sounds potentially interesting and it'd be a chance to check out the SP's temporary home.

Dude 1981 I'm afraid my carer and I are at a loss with your request. Though it would be helpful to put a link with the title. Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.

I think Dude's comment was aimed at the site moderators asking if they can put the name of the venue into the thread title, as this would encourage more people to read the thread.

I am not a big theatre goer, but a very big Ustinov fan - rather excessively so according to my family!

Did you ever listen to In All Directions? Another somewhat lost bit of Ustinov's work.

Thanks for clearing this up.  That is what I was getting at.  Apologies if I could have been clearer.
If, for some strange reason you care what I've seen, it's all here:

Back drifter - Thanks for clearing that up, no idea what a moderator was, so thought it maybe have been me as I created this post!
Yes! In All Directions! That does take me back Ustinov and Jones! Great great work, so funny and great improvisation! What are your thoughts in the revival? And In All Directions?

I have had a look at the website of the Southwark Playhouse and a few pictures of the new theatre. I do hope it will compliment the play. Though, looking back now, not sure if the Adelphi did! A barn for a play!

Dude 1981 - so sorry that I didn't understand!

Armadillo - I never hold my breath when it comes to BBC Archives!

Does anyone know of any cast named?
All gone a little quiet. Excited to say the least...

The southwark website still says cast TBC. Presumably some of the actor members of the production company are involved - http://newactorscompany.com/about.html

The New Actors Company tweeted they will be announcing the cast this week. Has anyone seen any other plays by Ustinov? I didn't realise he was a playwright......
