I'm just waiting for Kimberley Walsh to come on and murder a showtune.

I  think Heather is doing that for her........

Skipping over the special award for Michael Frayn. C'mon, that's just rude.

Lots of adverts for musicals in the ad breaks!

The commercials are musicals heavy, I've seen ones for Jersey Boys, A Chorus Line, Let it Be and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so far.

Y'know, I've never ever fancied The Bodyguard- just viewed it as another piece of rubbish clogging up the West End - but Heather Headley is really rather good.

Had the same reaction to the  show  -it  looked and sounded like another inedible piece of the  US invasion.. Didn't think that was good though - rambled for ever,  and only went anywhere right at the end for me. Showed how good the original was. Wonder what it would have sounded like with some domestic talent singing it?

Full of surprises this - Mirren, Ball and Staunton - Sian Philips surely can't have won too while I was away.....

Matthew Morrison makes me want to  crawl into a dark hole. So cheesy. I can't watch

He's very good but I'd rather see a number from one of the nominated shows than a medley from West Side Story.

I hope this isn't the tour - i have booked a ticket for that. You could find better than that in any major show  ensemble.

Why is best musical before best play and best actor? To me, it makes more sense to have that last.

The whole thing is a mess. I'm embarrassed for all involved.. And depressed how we, with the best creative and artistic talents in the world, can produce a show of such ineptitude.

I presume I'm only one of a handful of people sticking it out till the end. I think this broadcast could be a one off.
