Seems the Union Theatre has managed something special here:  not only in mounting the production itself but its UK premiere.

Where's the Union Theatre? I have wanted to see this for ages!

Edit - Should have guessed it would be London, I want a UK tour!!

A beautiful, thoughtful piece. Rarely have I felt so involved with or cared more for characters in a show. Exactly what is needed to attract a young audience to musical theatre (we were the oldest in the audience, in total contrast to our Chichester trip on Saturday). That's three 5 star shows in a row. I enjoyed this too, and what a great little theatre, first time there. I would have liked to have seen A Million Miles From Heaven included but that aside, some great performances and choreography in such a small space.  Hannah Levane stood out for me, she is very funny. If you liked Spring Awakening you'll love this.

I knew nothing about this itsuckstobeme, but was blown away, thought it was the perfect piece of theatre. Agree about Hannah Levane, wonderful. The Union is a really special place that is currently under threat, but things are looking up for them thank goodness.

I liked your review, though I myself am slightly older than 25! but agree it was predominantly a young crowd last night.

Never let the truth get in the way of artistic licence. :)

Mark Shenton seemed to like the cast but not the piece in his tweets last night, but he seems to be in a minority

Looking forward to this tomorrow night.  Is it really close to 3 hours?  (EF review says 170 minutes)
