I really enjoyed the show as a whole and virtually all performances were excellent but I am not sure that it would have been as good without Cynthia Erivo.  If they do transfer somewhere, they are going to have find someone outstanding to fill that role!

They will wait a year for her then it'll most probably go in to the music box after pippin

Into the Music Box in a year??? I HIGHLY doubt that Pippin will be gone in a year, it is selling out every night and it is the in show among the NYC theatre community with people getting to the theatre at 4am for rush tickets and they are casting well known theatre replacements for cast members to avoid the buzz dying down! I think if it does go to New York it will be in a much smaller space than the Music Box as well!

The only venue I can think of with a production still to be announced is the Vaudeville, and that wouldn't be available until the end of November.

I understand that The Duck House with Ben Miller is aiming to go there.

Eric and Little Ern is going Into the Vaudeville for a short run so The Duck House won't be able to come in until January.

To quote the whatsonstage news section:

"For its first week at the Vaudeville, 19-24 November, Eric and Little Ern will run with nightly 7.30 performances, and 3pm matinees on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. From December to 12 January, the two-hander will run at the theatre alongside another production – still to be announced – with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday matinees, and 7.30pm evening performances on Sundays."

I see, I guess The Duck House is coming in late November or early December. Its interesting that Nimax will have three shows running at the Vaudeville at any given day since they'll have a kids show in the morning as well.

And on Wednesdays Nica has coffee mornings, Sundays a car boot sale, midnight shows are a possibility pending the outcome of rehearsals for Nica and Kim Posters adagio act
