Well I am probably the only one on the forum to think this but I loved it - made me laugh out loud which seldom happens these days with your average comedy.
Followed by the Job Lot when I dont even break into a smile

Its viewing figures show almost 6 million people watch it. In that sense it must be like UKIP, we metropolitan elite Guardian readers who post here  are 100% horrified by it but somewhere out there in the benighted provinces SOMEONE must like it.

I am not from the provences and live in central London - but dont read the Guardian, guess thats where I am going wrong!
I just know what makes me laugh and that does but I also like all those old 70s very "un PC" comedies.
I surely will burn in hell......................

I expected not to like it, but I think it's wonderful! Silly fluff made even more silly through having McKellen & Jacobi doing it.

It got almost 6m for its first episode but that sunk to around 3m for episode 3 so it's not that popular!
