Public theatre in New York - the Imelda Marcus musical - terrific
The nature of casting and the size of performance space means it needs a subsidised theatre here as well
This is the show that should win the tony but not eligible

Agreed, Here Lies Love is great show, really fun immersive theater.  It's been a big hit for the Public.  They sometimes transfer their more popular shows to Broadway, but this one has unique venue requirements (intimate space, set up like a dance club) ... I wonder if there's any precedent for producing a show like this in a Broadway house.
