I've always wondered where people get hold of theatre posters from...how do the sellers on ebay get hold of so many?

Can you get them for free?

Yeah, I've got hold of a few for different shows for free just by asking. I think they've all been from tours though, not WE venues. I think it's helped that I've gone on the last day, so they've been more inclined to give them out. Doesn't always work though, I think it depends on whether they have extra posters they're not displaying in the theatre.

Also my local theatre advertises in shops including the one I work upstairs of, so I can get hold of their posters once the show has finished.
