I thought Debbie Kurup sang well, she was far superior to Heather who did nothing for me.
I completely agree and this is actually how I felt about it when I saw the show too. Was very underwhelmed by it as a whole and Heather in particular. However I did like Debbie.

I haven't seen the show but I think I may get a ticket when Beverley Knight takes over especially if Debbie Kurup is staying on

I think Beverly will smash it vocally. Can she act? I do hope so

Finally, someone else who knows it. Every time I hear Heather sing I'm completely underwhelmed.
If I stay awake, it must be good.

They must have had to do take after take if the Aida soundtrack to piece together whole numbers in tune (I do love her on that recording it has to be said.. But now I can just imagine what she really sounded like watching the actual show)

Utterly ridiculous.
Excuse me if I seem jejune
I promise I'll find my marbles soon.

I've seen Heather in Bodyguard several times and she definitely sung in tune. I'm aware that we all have different taste and it's fine if someone doesn't like the tone of her voice. But to say she is singing out of tune all the time is simply not true.

I'm sure she doesn't sing out of tune all the time, but she was badly out of tune on the Andrew Lloyd Webber special on ITV not so long ago, and given she probably got multiple takes of that as it wasn't live, I was extremely unimpressed.

I finally had time to write my blog post on this year's WEL and it includes a few more photos than I posted in this thread before: http://www.pagetosta...-live-2013.html
