Chimerica needs a revolve. Do all theatres have one these days? I usually hate them but in this case it is well used. Deserves a transfer into town.

Only the Palladium has a revolve, Chariots of Fire successfully transferred from Hampstead to the Gielgud and I believe that had a revolve. I think Chimerica has a shot of transferring to the West End, theatre availability is the main factor as most of the playhouses are booked up until 2014.

Revolves are easily transportable these days. Some shows tour with revolves quite easily. Obviously drum revolves less so, but I believe this is a straight forward round and round one with no uppy downny twisty?

Paines Plough widely toured Love Love Love on a flat revolve and so did Headlong with Earthquakes in London, with numerous scene changes.

Could Chimerica work in a bigger playhouse like The Pinter or The Vaudeville?

It would be better at The Duchess....but I think The Pinter would be OK....it always feels a bit smaller than some of the other theatres...not sure if this is just in my head though!
