WestEndProducer has just tweeted that Memphis is being brought over from Broadway, if this is for real, I am beyond excited, was probably the top show I saw out there last year.  Anyone have the scoop?

Will be interesting if Memphis comes over what theatre they go for because a lot of the mid sized theatres are unavailable and there seems to be more shows than available theatres.

Which is annoying. There are plenty of things on at the moment that don't deserve to be, and plenty that do. London needs some new theatres.
If I stay awake, it must be good.

things like Let it Be, FHTE and Thriller imo should all pack there bags, then shows like Memphis, Newsies and Kinky Boots could transfer, even Annie or even Pippin could transfer and be bigger hits.

FHTE will likely be gone during 2014, not sure about Let it Be but its not staying at the Savoy after February so unless its transfers again then it'll likely close.

Its a shame Michael Jackson died, Thriller was DAYS away from closing, then he died, and its still running. There are too many blood clots in our London Theatres that need to be gotten rid of. But I know this is more a theatre buffs opinion!

It's such a shame as the Lyric is a wonderful theatre and deserves to have a decent play running there rather than Thriller. There's a number of shows I think need to close and replaced with better shows.
