the thing i don;t like about joj is he is the single most unversatile singer out there, he's only good for two roles! great at them, but little else.
anyway ashliegh grey is fantastic. happy she is in this

I loved JOJ in Les Mis but missed Phantom so am looking forward to a bit of both.
Wouldn't mind a duet with Gareth like they did in Radio 2's Music Night too.

I saw MM last year in Wimbledon and I'm so pleased it's coming to Manchester and especially that John Owen Jones is taking part - I loved him in Les Mis and Phantom and agree with Les Mis lover that a duet between him and Gareth would be really good. For me Gareth was the star last year, good to see  both him and Rachel  in this years show.

JOJ has got a fantastic voice but he over-acts more than anyone else I've seen on a stage....he ruined the Les Mis tour for me and I've tried to avoid seeing him in anything ever since.

I wish I was able to see this as I love hearing JOJ sing, but sadly I have other commitments when it's in Wimbledon :(

I assume by the comments in that he hopes to throw his hat into the Miss Saigon Chris ring. I hope not

I am sure he does hope to throw his hat into the Miss Saigon Chris. I hope he does.

Gareth Gates is on ITV's This Morning tomorrow talking about Momentous Musicals.

Compared with Simon Bowman?

How do you overact a homicidal psychopath in Phantom? It just lends itself to all perms  - if your Christine can keep up,  which Katie could..
