Give five bucks Lynette and you can hear one of the songs. Would give you a better idea certainly. Give more and you might even get a t-shirt!

Well I've taken a chance and booked, and it was already quite popular when I tried on the afternoon of the first day of public booking.  I couldn't try earlier so couldn't get the performance/seat combination I wanted.  For those in doubt, why not check the website to see how booking is going, and if you think you want to take a chance rather than risk missing out if it turns out to be good, book one of the cheaper seats?  This time the Almeida has 3 different pricing bands as well as the individual seat pricing bands:  preview, off-peak and peak.

Wow, £45 top price for Friday and Saturday non-previews.

Yes, but there are also plenty of £8 seats and much in between - depends whether you are buying on price or particular times/dates.

Have gone ahead and booked for a Friday matinee, which will make a nice change. First visit to the Almeida, I'm hoping seat F18 is a decent one?

Yeah, F18 is fine. Not quite as good as the RV ones the either side, but still a bargain.

Well I was digging around looking for something different (and cheaper) for our London visit in December and came across this new show, my interest was peaked when I saw who was writing the lyrics/music so I have jumped in and booked but had to choose 'partially restricted view' seats at the back of stalls, it's in the Almeida Theatre, does anyone know how restricted these are? Any other thoughts on this new musical?

Never been to the theatre so can't help you with seats, but really looking forward to seeing what the show is like. Just nice to have another new musical to see, planning to book tickets soon.

I can't look for you as on my phone and it takes ages, but if you scroll through the musical thread I'm sure a topic for this show was started already, there might be more info there!

I would say get booked as there was only about 6 seats for both the nights I tried!
