I agree
Don't we get to be happy? At some point down the line, don't we get to relax without some new tsuris to push me yet further from you!

Who dare tell the lambs in Spring what fate the later season brings?

I don't like the look of it from the pictures.
If I stay awake, it must be good.

I don't get it. The animals don't even look much like animals.

I can't decide what to think of this, I do agree that the Indian design is great but then when compared with the Lion King costumes I can't really decide which I'd prefer. Did anyone see the non-Disney Jungle Book tour? One of the worst things I've ever seen on stage. This could be promising though as do like the songs from childhood!

The thing is adults dressed as animals would look naff, and if they added masks (which is the only animal aspect of the Lion King leads) they would be accused of copying The Lion King.  Also remember this is not billed as a major broadway/west end production.  This is much smaller scale and lower budget. More off Broadway, especially for now.

Bageera, King Louie and the vultures look great, not convinced on a few of the others.  I do think some sort of mask would help, but they need to be not just copying The Lion King. It definately needs work but it is beautifully designed, imaginative and theatrical and the concept idea is good. It shows more potential than the Little Mermaid (which I quite enjoyed but the design was bad)

Yeah that's true, I was presuming it was a pre-Broadway try-out in Chicago. Wonder when we will get another Disney show (as in a cartoon, not Newsies) in the West End then!
