Though a strange combination of concert and theatre, the plays form a fascinating companion to the music. The Watermen scenes are extremely funny, but there are some wonderful and surprising plays such as Cold Arabella which introduce less well known parts of English History. The music works well and Alison Balsam integrates well into the show.
