I saw it a few months ago when it was in Belfast, with Emi Wokoma...it was good, it was pretty much a watered down version of the movie, 'What's Love Got To Do With It' on stage.

I relies heavily on video screens for scenery, but it seemed to work...great performances by the cast, although the cast has since changed since I saw it.

I imagine Jenny Fitzpatrick would be good in the role, she was often the standout performer every time I saw Ghost in London.

I enjoyed it actually.  Huge Tina fan, but never seen a jukebox musical before.  Some of staging/directorial choices clashed with me a bit - a bit corny to my mind - but maybe that's how the jukebox genre tends to be done (silly narration from 1980s Tina), but I loved the fact it focused on Ike and Tina, and aimed to redressed some of the embellishments and over dramatizations created in the "What's Love Got To Do With It" film. It was thoroughly entertaining and considering it was only Jenny Fitzpatrick's 2nd performance (gutted I missed Emi), she was absolutely sensational.  A superb performance by anyone's standards.

I liked it when I saw the tour last year but it was probably the worst behaved audience I have ever experienced which spoiled it a little. Excellent performances from the cast though.

Saw it in Glasgow. Much better than expected but not one I'd go back to see. A good night out.
I can't think out of the box as I don't have a box to start with.
