New comedy The Big Time opens 29th of August at The Customs House in South Shields.

The play written by local actor and writer Wayne Miller is set for a three night run as a showcase for a North East and Edinburgh run in 2014.

Jerry & Jacks want to be Big Time, but at what cost? They take on a job that they hope will shoot them up the ladder in the organization. Take a girl to a fishing cabin in the woods, sounds simple enough? With these two criminal buffoons you couldn't be more wrong! Watch as a kidnapping gone wrong spirals them into a night of pure comic disaster.

“Great witty dialogue reminiscent of Pinter's The Dumb Waiter” Sunderland Rep

Oh I've not been to South Shields in years. We used to go to the beach, but sadly not the theatre. And of let's not forget the lemon tops.
If I stay awake, it must be good.
