I've only just heard about this and as a fan of Liza I'm rather interested, but a bit surprised the author hasn't told Miss Minnelli about the play. I've never been to the Tabard either, does anyone know much about it?

"The Tabard Theatre in West London will present the world premiere of Richard Harris’ new play, Liza Liza Liza from 5 - 29 September 2013.

Liza Liza Liza is a play that turns back the years, and peels back the veneer, on one of Hollywood's most compelling living icons. The professional and private lives of Liza Minnelli have experienced dizzying highs and crashing lows all ruthlessly captured and sold by the world's media."

Even though the official theatre website still says casting to be announced, I've just found this:

http://www.stageands...s-full-casting/

Stephanie Ticknell-Smith, Sabrina Carter (One Man Two Guvnors) and Felicity Duncan (Mamma Mia) will be playing Liza at different moments in her life.

I think I'll give this one a go, hopefully it will be interesting.

The tabard is a tiny above pub theatre, get there early as there is zero leg room in many seats.

It's a friendly place and they often manage quite impressive shows in the small space.
