BOOKING EXTENDED TO SATURDAY 30 OCTOBER 2010
Acknowledged as a "West End phenomenon" by The Sunday Telegraph (2 August, 2009), WICKED, the smash hit musical that tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, officially flies into its fourth year at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre on 27 September 2009.
This award-winning production celebrated its 1000th performance on 14 February 2009 and welcomed its two millionth theatregoer on 11 May 2009. The hugely popular show has already grossed in excess of £80 million at the UK Box Office and booking has been extended again with tickets now on sale until Saturday 30 October 2010.
Executive Producer Michael McCabe said: "As WICKED enters its fourth year in the West End our business continues to climb. As we are already 7% up on last year, we fully expect 2009 to be our highest grossing year to date. It's a remarkable achievement, especially in this financial climate, and we are all greatly indebted to the cast, company, orchestra and crew who work so brilliantly and tirelessly to deliver audiences such a superb experience every night."
WICKED stars Alexia Khadime as Elphaba, Dianne Pilkington as Glinda, Oliver Tompsett as Fiyero, Harriet Thorpe as Madame Morrible, Sam Kelly as The Wizard, Natalie Anderson as Nessarose, Alex Jessop as Boq and David Stoller as Doctor Dillamond.
Cast subject to change from 29 March 2010 - which means 'Cast Change' will be Saturday 27 March 2010 I doubt anything can beat the atmosphere of 9 May 2009 but I'll be there... wonder who's going and staying??

Dianne has been there over two years now, Oliver has been there since the beginning, Harriet has been there two years now and in terms of how long Madame Morrible stay she's been there along time, Sam will leave as a year is long enough, Alex has been there a while in the ensemble along with David... However will the current climate, this may effect their decision to stay?? I think Natalie may stay and I think Alexia may stay depending on how well she does with the rest of the contract...
I hope either Sarah/Ashleigh get bumped up to leads or leave because they are too good for standby's!!!
I hope most of the ensemble go if I am honest!! There are a few great members at the moment but the rest just don't do it for it (compared to the previous cast where ALL the ensemble were on fire!!!)
I'd love Wicked to get a complete overhaul with a fresh cast come March 2010 with some fresh leads to give a little spark back to this wonderful show!!

THANKYOU! I miss some of those guys so much, but more than missing individuals I miss them as a group. *sigh* I also wish Hannah, Sean and Lindsay weren't swings.
I hope that Sabrina Carter gets bumped to standby if Ashleigh leaves, she's brilliant.

I want Sabrina/Chloe to be bumped up to standbys. I want Sarah and Ashleigh to leave, not because they're not good but because I think they can do better (and if Ashleigh stays or gets bumped up, I won't go as much)
I love this ensemble a lot more than the last soo whoever stays will be fine with me.
I think all the main cast will leave apart from Alexia. And if she goes, I will be done with Wicked for a while

My hopes would be for Diane and Oliver to go - Diane was funny once or twice but if i go and see it again i'd like to be with a new Glinda and Oliver seemed quite flat (energy wise) when i went - understandinly - i'd be bored silly after 4 years - so id like to see a fresh new fiyero. I think Alexia is brilliant - but much prefer Ashleigh so would like to see her get to do it regularly as i think its a crime for other to miss her doing it!
