Lionel Blair at Throughly Modern Millie, (gave Amanda Holden a big wave at the end!) and sat behind Helen Worth at the Mamma Mia 10th anniversary performance. I suppose Bjorn and Benny at the same performance is cheating a little......

There's always 'Someone' whenever I go to the theatre [ lots of Thursday nights..] I've just mentioned in another thread that I saw Tom Stoppard at the last show of The Winter's Tale at the Old Vic. Not surprising as he did the rewrite and I suppose that have a party after the last show. I've sat just in front of Patrick Stewart, near to David Mamet, Lindsay Duncan, seen Felicity Kendal at the Donmar and Harold Pinter there too. The Donmar is the place to see 'em, no doubt about it. Oh, Prince Charles and Camilla, sat near them at the RSC . Twelfth Night I think it was. And sat two rows behind Tony Blair and his whole family at Oklahoma a few years a go. Spot the Secret Service guys in the row between!
Of course, these famous people, they were all there with me.  wink.gif

Alan Rickman at Hamlet a few months ago. He was just a few seats along from me, in the next row forward: perfect view! smile.gif

RSC Hamlet or Donmar Hamlet?
Many many people I have seen, Daniel Radcliff very quiet and very discreet sitting in front of me when I went to see Speed The Plow. If I hadn't leaned forward to find something in my bag and hadn't heard his voice, I wouldn't have noticed him.

Oh, Trevor Nunn at the final A Little Night Music at the Chocolate Factory, although I never would have noticed him if he hadn't been pointed out by the cast. Does it count if you have to be shown them in such an obvious fashion?

Brian May at Kerry's last Wicked ( saw only)
Peter Polycarpou, Rent ( spoke to)

Is it cheating to mention people at the stage door waiting for their mates?
If not-
Richard Meek at Sister Act ( spoke to)

And what about waiting at the bustop having come out of the theatre?
Helena Blackman ( spoke to)

On the way to the tube after watching them perform?
Cassidy Janson, Chris Barton

?  What about missing seeing someone because you are  too busy arguing with your companion  in the foyer?- Eddie Izzard

I'm definitely, definitely sure its cheating to mention all the people you meet as a result of going to the Whats on Stage Outings.......
So I am only going to mention the ones I  have actually had a deep and meaningful conversation with  rather than seen across a crowded room!!

Maureen Lipman
Alexander Hanson
Sophie Thomson
Richard Lumsden
Ian Lavender
Ian Kelsey
Carole Todd
Kerry Ellis

Finally in the category of famous faces queing up in the same queue for the loo as me

Leanne Jones , Helena Blackman, Connie Fisher, Samantha Barks
I know I could be a lion tamer,
I've always gotten along with cats

Well at MirandaSings' gig pretty much everyone in the audience was on the West End haha. Err, Denise Van Outen, Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Grindrod at La Cage, Brian May at Joseph, there were a few at opening nights I've been to but I can't remember...
I've seen loads more, I can't remember right now though.
