Another fond memory is seeing Christopher Biggins give a solo standing ovation at The Boyfriend, in what struck me as a very luvvie-ish "look at me, not the stage" gesture!

At a Q&A I went to at Chelsea Art College Rickman said "Theatre is my religion" so I guess that's why he is spotted so often

On seeing Alan Rickman, I was with a friend who didn't know who I meant until I said "The Sheriff of Nottingham" to which she replied "but where's his scar!"

I remember seeing Phantom once and the premium seats were taken up by two older gentlemen and a group of young women who were 'escorts'. Not sure who the gentlemen were, but I remember talking to some of the cast and one of the ushers who told me that they were important people, and we all had a giggle at the escort ladies who were all dressed up to the nines, made us feel very underdressed in our jeans and trainers!!
