Stephen Schwart in the audience for Wicked last week. No one seemed to notice him but me.

I wonder if composers do check their shows from time to time, I know directors and producers tend to, there was a famous story of Cameron Mackintosh firing half the cast of Les Mis although I can't remember which production as he saw it and it was in bad shape

I assume the composers would do, especially when their show is as successful as Wicked, and long running, you would want to make sure your show is in good shape.

Saying that, Geri Halliwell has seen Viva Forever about 10 times, Mel B/Mel C/Emma seen it more than once, Victoria has only seen it once... And thats been running only 4 months

Yes, there are always house seats held back at every performance for creatives to drop in and watch the show. It happens more often than you would imagine. I heard the Cam Mack Les Mis story too - not sure how true it is but it is certainly probable. If you turn up late at the theatre (say 10 mins before curtain) and ask for a ticket they may sell the house seats if no-one is in. These are always good stalls seats!

Slightly cheating since it wasn't at the theatre but on my way back, but Mark Lawson and son (or random young boy he socialises with) were at Feng Sushi today.

That's cool - Nice to know he visits foreign productions. I don't think I would have noticed him. I'm useless at recognising famous people - I always just think "Oh they look like that guy/girl..." etc. :P
