I have just been looking at the 1st night photos for ' A chain play' that was at the Almeida on 23/3/07.
Please have a look at photo number 7 (Nicole Farhi).
I feel sorry for whoever that was sat behind her. Could they see anything through all that hair or hare???

Jonathan Ross mentioned a similar incident when someone at 'Bent' ended up sitting behind Russell Brand (though if he's anything like he is on TV that could be annoying on many many levels).

You'd think people with voluminous hair could tie it back/down, but maybe that overestimates people's consideration...

Edit: apologies, that sounded very cynical/miserable!

I once sat behind a Sikh who had courteously adopted a low-profile turban that was little bigger than a bandana.

Popbitch had a story a couple of weeks ago about Brian May completely blocking someone's view during Spamalot and buying them champagne during the interval as an apology. Which rather suggests that it had happened before.
