[...]Felicia will be played by a west end performer, someone like Cynthia Eviro for example? She won't be able to do it as she's in 'I Can't Sing' which is a shame as she would be totally perfect as Felicia!

I think Rachel John would be perfect as Felicia.

Its not about how good or bad charlie is, its the fact that Mr Barnaby will make negative snarky comments on everyother show and in some cases actors, and if anyone disagrees then they are in the wrong.

however when it comes to charlie anyone who doesnt like that show then they are in the wrong. In many cases people havent made outright blanket negative comments (unlike mr barnaby in other show threads) but have just pointed out why they didnt enjoy it.

I've a feeling this will open at The Palladium.. in all honesty I can't imagine 'I Can't Sing' lasting very long... my friends and I would generally be up for the vast majority of musicals and give them a shot but none of us have any interest in seeing this show whatsoever! and I can't imagine the audience that watches X Factor will be interested forking out big prices for this show. Just my two cents worth..

#290859 Priscilla Queen Of The Desert: Interesting Article On The Uk Tour Bus And Fut...

After reading that article, it makes a lot of sense in regards to the design of the bus. The full version bus is probably one of the most complex and advanced technology that the theatre industry has ever had, it was able to work on the west end but believe me when I saw the show in London a few times, it broke down! Taking the full version bus on tour would have been extremely difficult, I know the US tour had the full version but just bear in mind that they have bigger stages than us so they were able to do it. The stages in the UK are quite small compared to the US so I can understand why it was not possible. However if Priscilla had a monthly run in a big venues, then it might have been possible to tour the full version bus but again depends on the availability of theatre, popularity and the expense to run the production (would be very expensive). I still think the UK tour bus could have been designed better, maybe adding more LED light sheets to the exterior of the bus would have made it better? I personally think the shoe ladder looks very unsafe, it wobbles like mad but I guess it would have been quite difficult to design the shoe scene without the roof on top of the bus. The UK tour cast is incredible, the level of talent and energy is amazing, without them Priscilla wouldn't have been as good, we have a lot to be thankful for. The tour bus used to bother me, but it doesn't anymore as I'm quite happy to pay to see the cast alone when they deliver perfectly every performance, they really are a talented bunch.

Hope I don't sound full of myself, I'm just sharing my views. Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say :)

I think the bus used in the Italian tour is even worse than ours. It has no LED lights on the actual bus itself. I do however think their screens are much better than ours.

I do agree though, the touring bus could have been made a lot more better, they could of left one side of the bus a shell then the other side they could of blocked it up with LED screens. It actually does look like a clothes hanger lol. I still don't get why we couldn't have a Sydney harbour bridge, a scaled down version of that would of been fine, but apart from that I love the tour and couldn't agree more on the level of talent the cast have.

I'm curious as to if we'll see the original production when the show goes back to OZ? I hope so.
