Has anyone got a rough idea of the running time? I'm contemplating going mid-week but now I'm no longer local my theatre trips are more tricky! Is it about the same as the Broadway production which was 2h10?

Out before 10. It say 2 10 in the prog and that was about right allowing for a late start and some very busy interval set building. Takes a bit longer whilst Fleeshman gave hand jobs  to the front row.

We're going in a few weeks and can also recommend a good ESL tutor if it helps.

We were in row D and all the above is spot on. I saw this in NY in 2001 in a much bigger venue and it really works in this intimate setting. SWMBO hadn't seen it before and was well impressed. It was obvious that the F&F were in the audience, as well as some kids, but the standing ovation was genuine.

It's like a stage full of Gavroche - machine-gunning is too good for them

Well that was a disappointment last night. Mumbling lead man, utterly tedious first half and not much improved after the break. Baffled why it sells but then I'm not down with the pre-teens so maybe it's just me. I remember not getting into RD as a kid so perhaps I should just mount Mallory Towers - the (terribly ripping) Musical instead.
