Don't leave at interval.

Superb advice !  What a great 'play', more of a (slightly) interactive event which leaves you with lots to discuss on the way home.  Can't say too much, but can definitely recommend.

Going tonight.  From what I've read on the other Thread it's possible I'll escape at the interval.  I really don't like 'interactive'.

I think you're spot on with your comments about the performers and sets.

Was expecting the worst, but it wasn't THAT bad.  I thought Danny Webb's performance was the stronger of the pair however they didn't really have decent material to work with.

A few empty seats in the stalls although I didn't see anyone leave, although that could possibly have been because I was close to the front.

Nice set, one or two laughs, particularly near the end, but absolutely no tension and nothing to really keep me engrossed.

Royal Court should do better.

Saw it this evening.  It wasn't very busy - lots of spare seats in the stalls.  Cremin did a fine job and I can't really see justification for getting someone else in.  McCabe stole the show in the first half and the whole audience really seemed to brighten up when he appeared.

Second half wasn't as much fun but there were some touching moments between the main protagonists.
