An invitation to the slips from Mrs Lovett?  Someone’s getting their money’s worth…

I’m going on Saturday myself, but it’s a family birthday so ditching them to meet strangers from the internet might not go down too well, much as I'd love to meet you all.  I will be playing a game of Spot the WOSsers, though, so wish me luck!  Hope everyone enjoys it!

Il be the confussed looking one on row D slagging everyone off for being white and middle class

No promotion then on BGT. Coz

A) they r all happy with the the great reviews and, unbeknown to ourselves, it's starting to get a great advance. Maybe not too long left for the automatic Upper Circle upgrade! Or

B )they don't want BGT tarnished with what they know is a flop and that it won't make it to the Summer no matter how much money they throw at promo

But if the UC is still shut after the great reviews then this is a bad sign? In theory they could close the circle and just have the stalls open and as long as the stalls r 60% of the house then it's profitable to remain open?

  Still no Upper Circle!

Bloody hell! At my calculations (and I have UNDER estimated) they r losing £20,000 per performance this not bring open (if it were sold out, granted) which is £160,000 a week.
So since open they have lost out on at £1MILLION it not being open!

Now I'm not slagging it off and as much as I was disappointed with it I can appreciate why others like it but how long (genuine untrolling question) could a production support such losses before having to close/move/take massive action?

I reject the idea the Cowell will keep this going just to keep face - u don't get as rich as him without being very shrewd and his name isn't actually connected to the piece on the promo stuff so it being pulled won't do his rep any damage

The most expensive ticket I've ever bought was £995 for the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, but that was worth every penny.

This has to be the best night out in town - such a talented cast and team! Why is everyone knocking it? Granted we are all able to voice an opinion .......... but why some of the pretentious comments!

Pretentious! I think u will find mine are juvenile and in slightly bad taste thank you!

Spoiler.
Consider if Kirwan's character's story is true....
Also, this play came at an interesting time in New Writing. In a time where there were a lot of plays with In Yer Face characteristics, McPherson's play is successful as a gentle and subtle piece.

Surely not a masterpiece if u have to know the context it came out in?
