I don't doubt Lilla Crawford will be good in this, but I can't help but wish they'd gone for someone older again but still looks young. I know Red has to be young for the relationship between her and the Wolf to make it's full impact but that doesn't mean they have to cast a child, just someone young-looking. My first choice probably would have been Sarah Hyland to be honest, she's 22 but she looks much younger IMO. More importantly she's a pretty good singer too, the performance below has its faults but it shows more than enough potential.

Ah well, nice to see this is progressing along nicely anyway!

I live in Sheffield most of the year yet my friends and I are still going to go to London at the end of this month because the cost of travel and ticket to London is cheaper than the ticket price alone in Manchester. Though I guess being students we're slightly different because we'll get best available for £29.50 or day seats. Whilst I'm sure they're not exactly losing any sleep over 4 lost tickets but it's a bit worrying when it works out more cost effective for a group to travel 3 hours to see the show on the West End rather than 40 minutes to see the tour version which is designed to get the show to a new audience and renewed revenue.

So I'm treating my mum to tickets for this in Bristol as she keeps saying how much she wants to go but can't afford it at the moment. Anyone know what the view is like Rows L,M,N & O in the stalls? My parents are quite short and I don't wanna spend money for them to be able to see anything. Or should I just pay the extra £5 per ticket and get the premium seats in E,F,G or H? Been years and years since I've been in the Hippodrome and even then I sat in the Grand Circle and all I remember was that it was quite cramped!

Actually quite sad that Hayley is leaving, it's unlikely I'll get to see her before she leaves now and I'd actually love to see her. Pleased that they've given the cast such a facelift though, hopefully they all bring a renewed energy to the show.

Nikki is a solid choice for Elphaba, but I can't help but feel that they probably could have found someone more interesting. Maybe we'll see someone new to the role later in the run though. Emily Tierney will be a fantastic Glinda I feel, very excited to see what she does with the role! :D
