Ok, we all get the picture by now. You don't like this show, but there's no need to make fun of it. There are people like myself who love this show. For me this is one of the best musicals in recent years. We all have different opinons about shows and we should all respect that others might think differently.

Well said. I come on these forums to listen to intelligent conversations about musicals and hate the sarcasm and 'we know better than you' attitude of a few posters.

Does this tour ever end?

I love Blood Brothers and as it generally comes to my local theatre about once every two years, I
don't think that's too often.  It always gets practically full houses so I expect it will carry on
for the forseeable future.

I'm intrigued. Why is it bad manners? It's not like the cast look out into the auditorium after the interval and go "what? not everyone came back? That is just the height of rudeness". Surely it's more offensive all round to fall asleep/chat/text/sing your way through the second half?
I would say it's bad manners for other members of the audience to be disturbed and it must be distracting for the cast as well.

I saw it at the Saturday matinee and thought it was ok. The story does take a good while to unfold   and I think some of the foreign tourists found it quite difficult to follow (in fact the couple next to us didn't come back after the interval). I've seen much worse but it didn't blow me away. The     choreography was really good though, especially some of the 'fights' in slow motion.

Cheryl Baker was offered a role in this but is undecided.

Well it won't be a dancing role if she is in it.  I saw her in Happy Days, she could just about keep up with very basic choreography.  Her voice though is really good.
